Over the past forty years, advancements in Spain’s wine industry have made it the world’s third largest wine producer. Now Spain is converting an industry built for quantity into a diverse landscape of high quality producers covering more than 70 classified appellations.

From its cheerful and delicious pueblo wines to the ageworthy masterpieces of its grandest estates, from the aromatic Albariños of Rías Baixas in Galicia to the classic Riojas of the Ebro River Valley, from the joyful Cavas of the Penedes in the northeast to the complex Sherries of Jerez in the southwest, we’ll taste, explore and experience all of the rich beauty of Spain’s long love affair with wine.

Over the past decade or more Portugal has seen a revolution in Portugal’s winemaking. As Frederico Falcão, President of ViniPortugal recently pointed out, Portugal’s wine farming for the future, return to indigenous varieties, and innovative winemakers are bringing Portugal’s world of wine diversity to the world. Falcão noted that for consumers growing tired of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay (and equally, for those who can’t get enough of them), Portugal is “definitely the country to explore,”  thanks to its countless indigenous grape varieties and broad styles of winemaking.

We’ve been watching this revolution for quite some time and can assure you - Portugal’s wine scene is absolutely dramatic, and you will be stunned by its dry red and white wines— but only if you come and taste with us!
